1.2 Information We Do NOT Collect

We explicitly do not collect the following types of sensitive or non-essential information:

• Full legal name, date of birth, ID card numbers, or government-issued identifiers

• Phone number, physical address, or contact details (unless voluntarily provided for account recovery)

• Sensitive demographic data (e.g., gender, race, religion, educational background)

• Call logs, SMS content, or personal contact lists

Our utility apps only request permissions that are strictly necessary for core features. All permissions are optional, and you can revoke them at any time via your device settings.

2.1 How We Collect Information

• Direct Input: Information you enter manually into the Service (e.g., notes, calendar events, calculation history).

• Third-Party Accounts: Information obtained when you sign in or link your Google, Facebook, or other third-party accounts (only if you choose to enable cloud sync).

• Device Permissions: Data collected automatically after you grant access to device features (e.g., storage, notifications).

2.2 To Whom We Collect Information

We only collect information directly from you, the end user of the Service. We do not collect information from third parties without your explicit consent.

2.3 Specific Permissions & Usage

• Storage: To save user-generated content (notes, calendar events, calculation history) locally on your device and enable backup/restore. Data is stored locally on your device or encrypted cloud servers (if sync is enabled). We do not access other files on your device.

• Calendar (Calendar app only): To sync with your device's native calendar and send event reminders. We only read/write calendar events created within our app, and do not access or modify other calendar entries.

• Notifications: To deliver calendar event reminders and critical app update alerts. We only send push notifications related to your scheduled events or service updates; no marketing or promotional notifications are sent without your explicit consent.

• Network State: To check connectivity for cloud sync (if enabled) and app updates. This data is used only to trigger sync operations when a network connection is available.

• Camera/Microphone (optional, for advanced features): For voice-to-text input in notes or image attachment (if applicable). Audio/image data is processed locally on your device (unless you choose to upload it) and never shared with third parties without your explicit consent.

• Location (optional, for Calendar app): To tag calendar events with location or adjust time zones. Location data is only used to label your events and is never shared with third parties for advertising or analytics.

2.4 Data Sharing & Third Parties

• We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third parties for commercial or advertising purposes.

• We may share limited data with trusted third-party service providers who assist in operating the Service (e.g., cloud storage providers for sync, crash reporting tools). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and only use it for the purposes we specify.

• We may disclose your information to comply with applicable laws, court orders, or government requests, or to protect our rights, property, or the safety of our users.

2.5 Data Storage Location

• Local Storage: Most user-generated content (notes, calculations, calendar events) is stored locally on your device by default.

• Cloud Storage (if sync is enabled): Data is encrypted and stored on secure cloud servers operated by reputable providers located in the United States. We use industry-standard encryption (e.g., AES-256) to protect your data during transmission and storage.

 

3. Data Retention & Deletion

3.1 Data Retention Periods

• Local Data: Content stored on your device remains until you manually delete it or uninstall the app.

• Cloud Synced Data: If you enable cloud sync, your data is retained until you delete it, close your account, or until 30 days after your account is deactivated (to allow for recovery).

• Usage Data: Aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics (e.g., crash logs, feature usage) are retained for 12 months to improve app performance and stability, after which they are permanently deleted.

• Account Data: Your account information (email, third-party login IDs) is retained for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, it is permanently removed within 30 days (except where required by law to retain it longer).

3.2 How to Delete Your Data

• In-App Deletion: You can delete individual notes, calendar events, or calculation history directly within the app at any time.

• Local Data Deletion: Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all local data stored on your device.

• Cloud Data & Account Deletion: To delete your cloud-synced data and close your account, you may submit a request via our website’s contact form or email us directly. We will process your request within 30 days and confirm the deletion via email.

 

4. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal information under applicable data protection laws:

• Access & Correction: You may access and update your account information and user-generated content at any time via the app’s settings.

• Data Deletion: You may request the permanent deletion of your personal data and account as outlined in Section 3.2.

• Data Portability: You may request a copy of your user-generated content in a machine-readable format (e.g., CSV, JSON) for personal use.

• Revoke Consent: You may revoke any previously granted permissions (e.g., location, notifications) at any time via your device’s settings, which will stop the collection of related data.

• Complaint & Feedback: If you have concerns about our data practices, you may contact us using the details in Section 7.

 

5. Cookies

Our official website may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your browsing experience. Cookies are small text files stored on your device to remember your preferences and analyze website traffic. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect the functionality of our website. We do not use cookies to track your activity within our mobile apps.
